of Buffalo, New York, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Brendan and Mary (Farrell) Cullinane, sister of Kevin Dennis, and granddaughter of Leta (late Kevin) Cullinane and Jeane (late Dennis) Farrell. Ella is survived by her aunts and uncles, including Alfredo and Jeanie Farrell, Katharine and Vincent Bair, Michael and Christina Farrell, Sean Cullinane, Matthew and Allison Cullinane, and Kathleen and Colin Wells. She is also survived by her cousins Benjamin, Brady, and Lilliana Farrell, Declan Bair, Rory and Rosalie Farrell, Caroline, Gerard, Charles, and Julia Cullinane, and Brendan, Molly, Tess, Leo, and Edward Wells, as well as numerous great uncles and aunts, relatives, and loving nurses.
Ella gracefully lived with Miller-Dieker Syndrome, a rare gene deletion syndrome. She was a proud student of the CHC Learning Center in Amherst, New York, where she enjoyed art projects, showing off her painted fingernails after “spa” days with her nurses, and using her foot switch to communicate with her friends and the world.
Her presence, gentleness, and quiet strength were remarkable and will be missed by many. Ella was a special girl who spread immeasurable joy to everyone she encountered.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Joseph’s University Parish, 3269 Main St., Buffalo on Saturday, February 24th, at 10:00 AM followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Ella was absolutely extrodianary! CHC was blessed to have her friendship and sweet presence at school. Personally, I will miss her gentle smile as well as her perfectly timed eyerolls. I was watched her work diligently to use her communication device to make choices and participate in school activities. She was absolutley spectacular and will continue to be in my memories. Such a privilige to have known her. God bless you Ella!
Ella is in God’s arms now feeling the familiar love she felt here on earth from her family, extended family, and caregivers at the CHC Learning Center. May God heal the hearts of those who gave theirs to Ella. May you feel solace in the love you gave because no greater gift can one give.
Ella was a beautiful soul I was blessed to have in my class. I will miss her terrible. Ella sweet angel rest in peace.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Although I did not have the privilege of meeting Ella, I have heard many heartwarming stories about how she touched the lives of those around her. I remember the day she was born the cutest baby ever to be made in the universe! Ella was the best and cutest girl ever! I loved seeing her awesome new dresses and her nails with her favorite colors, and not to mention her gorgeous hair and hair styles! her smile always made made me happy and I loved seeing her at the beach. I have always loved her with my whole heart and always will forever. I will always remember my beautiful cousin Ella.
Ella Bella, thank you for allowing me to experience your beautiful light while you were here, it was truly an honor to be your teacher. You brought so much personality to CHC! I will miss you dearly. Our classroom will not be the same without you. We love you Ella.
